Dr. Anil Kansal is a neurosurgeon with over 20 years experience, currently a senior consultant, Associate Director ( MAx ShalimarBagh) and Head of the Department (Max Pitampura) of spine and neurosurgery at Max Hospital. efore Joining MAx Hospital he has worked as a Director and HOD at FORTIS Hospital Shalimar Bagh. He has also shared many posts in past viz. a consultant spine and neurosurgeon at VIMHANS, an associate consultant neurosurgeon at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital and Ex. HOD (Neuro Surgeon Maharaja Agrasen).

He completed his MBBS in 1994, M.S (General Surgery) from KGMC in 1997, M.Ch (Neurosurgery) from KGMC in 2001.

He has also received Endoscopic training from Prof. M.R Ghab (Germany) & Prof M. Hussain.

Fellowship in advanced spinal surgery from Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, South Korea.

He did Minimal Access Spine Technique (MAST) Training from Singapore.

Fellowship in advenced stereo tactic and Functional Neuro Surgery from Friegburg, Germany.

He did his immeasurable study of DSA and MRA brain in intracranial vascular lesions. Currently he is a member of Delhi spine society, DNA and Neurological society of India and his expertise lies in spine surgery
