Dr. Vinod Rambal is working at Dr. L H Hiranandani Hospital as visiting Surgeon in the year 2004 and Full-time Neurosurgeon since September 2009.

After completion of M Ch (Neurosurgery), he continued to work at Bombay hospital, Bhatia hospital as visiting Neurosurgeon before joining Dr. L H Hiranandani Hospital as Fulltime Neurosurgeon.

In addition to Neurosurgery, he has worked in various surgical specialties & super specialties, Surgical Oncology and surgical Intensivist at Jaslok hospital and Medical research center, Mumbai. Dr. Rambal had a brief stint of observership at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children, London. Neurosurgical training involved craniospinal Trauma, Congenital and Degenerative disorders of Neuraxis, Paediatric Neurosurgery, Surgical Stroke and interventional neuroradiology.

Currently, he heads the Neurosurgical unit, looking after cold cases and emergencies comprising of craniospinal and polytrauma. Dr. L H Hiranandani hospital is well equipped with modern gadgets, state of art radiation oncology, Neuroradiology back up, ICU with continuous monitoring and specialist supervision, operation theaters with facilities to perform high-end neurosurgical operations.

Dr. Rambal has attended various national and international conferences and Seminars and presented various papers. Major areas of interest being Micro neurosurgery for Brain and Spine, Craniospinal Trauma, Surgical Stroke, Lesional Epilepsy and Neurointensive care
